Bring Shoe Cover to Huangshan
One of my friend who recently went to Huangshan told me that bring a shoe cover is very required in Huangshan. Rain coat can protect your upper body, but shoes should be totally wet to influence your hiking experience. Since rain is very frequent in Huangshan, so shoe cover is a very important item to bring with you.
You should shoose the shoe cover that can really keep the water out, not those used at home to keep out dust. You aim is to protect your shoes from been wet. Huangshan enjoys a wet weather according to its georgoraphy, so keep dry is the No.1 priority.
When living in the hotel, air-conditon may be charged in addition, you may thought it unnecessary, but i have to tell you, the air conditon is not open to keep you cool, but to keep you dry.
So before going to Huangshan, go the supermarket, got the shoe cover and food ready, keep your backpack with the most needed items and begings your journey.
